Well, Folks… it’s December 20, 2012. Here in Northern California the sky has a bit of clearing, however rain is predicted. Therefore, there are many clouds moving in and visibility is poor. Regardless, get out tonight and have your binoculars or scope with you. Ya gotta look! Wherever you are, do go out and look because the celestial objects are putting on a show.
Well, it is December 18, 2012 and the 21st of the month is on the horizon.
Pending the weather where you are, it is now a good time to start looking up at the sky and see the celestial objects moving about. Here is a link to Astronomy magazine to give you some viewing guidance.

Today we are well into December 2012 and talk of the Mayan calendar is popping up more and more. I personally think that it is the system of things that is going to change. Also, when are we going to stop being so violent and killing each other? Nowadays, it truly seems to be senseless crime and violence. Okay, so back to the stars!
The celestial bodies are moving closer to lining up. To say nothing will happen is not a sure thing. I gotta tell you, there may be something to the idea that something may happen when you get planets and the sun all lined up. So, we’ll see.
Have some fun and use the Internet to do some searching using astronomy as a keyword. Also, use Mayan Calendar as another. Remember, I want you to learn to research these things yourself and expand your knowledge base.

Look for a meteor shower on November 17, 2012 and a couple of nights thereafter. Mostly Northern Hemisphere and West Coast of USA. Check your local weather reports for clear skies or not and mention about the shower.
